Peanut is doing really well. She is making every person she meets fall in love. I know one day soon I will find her a perfect home, it's just going to take a little time. Until then we go for many walks where I've learned comically how hunting dogs act when they see squirrels. It reminded me of Dug in the movie Up. Her nose locks on no matter if they are in the trees or on the ground, she will find them. I can hear "SQUIRREL" in my head.
Tomorrow is her appointment to get spayed.
I'll update with pictures tomorrow. I contacted the local news station in hopes that she might get a little media coverage. I'm also going to plan some meet-ups at local dog parks and possibly at Weaver Street Market in Carrboro.
